Janie B Jones books are so entertaining. I know some Christian parents struggle with her obnoxious behaviors and do not allow the books to be read. I read them aloud to my preschoolers and they laugh over the silly parts, like the children putting toilet paper on their thankful list and any behaviors we don't view as appropriate we simply discuss as a group. Either way, it is a great opportunity to get children engaged in simply listening to a story. They are listening and laughing and learning to focus on the words being spoken and not just relying on pictures.

My niece would need to practice reading, so we would always get two sets of books, one for her house and one for mine. Junie B. made me crack up out loud. I recommend this to every parent, grandparent, & aunt and uncle who reads with kids. I kind of miss them now that she is older.

My child likes to forget his AR books at school. I downloaded the kindle version so he could still do nightly reading. Worked perfect!

My granddaughter, who is 8, loves this entire series of books! She has them all!

My daughter (who is now 10 and too old for Junie B.) and I waited for a new book to come out for the fews years she was interested in the books. After Dumb Bunny we waited patiently and nothing:( I am so happy to see Barbara Park has decided to start writing the series again. Little girls (and boys) everywhere will be delighted to follow Junie B. in her mishaps. I sent this book to a friend's daughter who has just turned 7 (and we introduced her to Junie B. over the summer) and she was delighted. I got rave reviews so I think we may pick up a copy for ourselves to read. I think it would be hard for anyone to not laugh at these books. Back to one of my favorite gifts for the 5-7 crowd!!

Great book. It was in excellent condition. Junie B Jones is so relate-able. My daughter laughs out loud as she is reading and always wants to read more. I wish there was a never ending supply of new Junie B adventures. She is like a part of our family now.

Not a huge fan of the new design for this series -- we have the whole set but we were missing two books. When these came they look completely different then all the others.

The wolf shifters behave like wolves and the feline shifters do not act like lap cats. The attitudes of the animal side are so well incorporated in the characters to make them real to the reader and cause a laughing spell. The characters are so well portrayed that a mental picture is easily established for the reader. You come to know the characters and can’t help but be not only fascinated by them but also care about them.Humor:The humor can be considered rude, crude, sarcastic and totally believable for the characters. It is so realistic that you can imagine yourself saying the same thing in the same situation. The interactions between the determined Alpha Males and the Strong Willed Females are some of the funniest moments in the novels that I have ever read. The attitudes of the animal side are so well incorporated in the characters to make them real to the reader and cause a laughing spell. (Warning, do not start reading any of these books in public if you don't want people staring at you when you start giggling uncontrollably. I am a grown woman - I never giggled - until I started reading this series.)Alpha Males:Strong, caring, not perfect Alpha Males that when they set their minds to making a certain female his – has no problem being as sneaky as a feline or as determined as a wolf. Each novel involves a different Alpha who comes across that particular female that just happens to make him want to roar or howl to let everyone know that she is his and his only, if he can only get that suborn female to acknowledge it.Strong Female Characters:In the animal world, the female of the breed is often more dangerous than the male and/or capable of taking care of themselves and not waiting to be "rescued". This means that the females in any of Laurenston’s novels are strong, sarcastic and are fighters whether shifter or human. They do not suffer fools or weaklings gladly or at all. It takes a strong Alpha male to even get their attention but he had better not try any sh*t on them or they’ll take his a** down a notch.Originality and Creativity:Out of this world! The only way to describe it is to tell you what it is not:No fated mating – each couple has their own unique reason as why they find themselves attracted to each other – just as in the real world.None of the same plot line just with a different couple – each novel has a unique plot line – no repeats or rehash.No cardboard cutouts for characters. Every character has his or hers unique personality – again, just like in the real world.This still does not touch on how creative the writing is – there are just no words to really describe it.World Building:The region, the dialect, the habits, quirks for that particular area are all so well incorporated into the novel that the reader cannot help but be transported, only if it is in the mind, to that place and time.Editing Problems:Simply put – there are none.WARNINGS:The series must be read in order because the world building is continued from one novel into the next. Also, the previous characters are continued into the next novel as part of the world building which creates a unique world that you are able to visit whenever you get a chance to escape from this reality.If you like your romance to be sweet with the female protagonist waiting for her "Knight in shining armor" to save her - this novel is not for you.If you are offended by explicit sex scenes and profanity - again, this novel is not for you.If you want your hero or male protagonist to be the strong but sensitive type - this novel is not one you will enjoy.If you do not like or get sarcastic humor - then skip this series.This is a very long review but please keep reading.If you look at all my reviews you will see that the first couple pages are all 5* reviews for Shelly Laurenston/ G A Aiken novels as well as a few other authors (after that you can see the good, bad and real ugly). That is because I have done the authors an injustice and am finally catching up on what I should have done a long time ago. I usually do not review all the books in a series unless or until they start to go downhill. I figure that once you are hooked on a series it does not matter what anyone says – you’ll make up your own mind to either stay or quit the series. I did not think that maybe my reviews might actually help on newer books in the series – attract attention from readers who were not even aware of the wonderful writings of the authors. That is why you will see this same review on most of the novels. I actually did an injustice to one of the few writers who actually help me get through this past year events because I just did not want to take the time to write a review.Last summer, I had several life altering events that happened to me – not the good type either. The events, the constant problems that had to be resolved after, the decisions that had to be made were all devastating emotionally, physically and financially. (The old saying that trouble or bad things come in threes is a lie – it can be multiples of that.) It was a time when I wasn’t taking a day at a time – I was taking it minute by minute – just to get through the next decision – face the next problem. Late one night when once again sleep eluded me, I picked up my e-reader and scanned my books to see if I could distract myself with anything. My eyes fell on my section of Shelly Laurenston novels. I started with one series and then went on to the next series and then the next series that she writes. Just for a little while during that period I could escape from all the pain, troubles and sorrows that I was experiencing. While I couldn’t laugh – they did make me smile and forget for just a little while everything else. While I have read other author’s novels over the past year, it has been Shelly Laurenston/G A Aiken’s series that I have read over and over again to escape to a more pleasant place – to smile again. And for that, Shelly Laurenston deserves a 5* review on every one of her books that I have practically memorized over the past year.

Conall Viga-Feilan is a hunky viking shapeshifter and is absolutely smitten with Miki Kendrick, a brainy and geeky nerd femme fatale who is completely unimpressed with Conall's looks or his ability to shift into a big wolf. He tries everything to win her affections and she completely blows him off. His packmates think he's nuts for wanting a woman who obviously has no respect for him or them. Of course, the attraction between the two is undeniable, but Miki's not about to drop her underpants just because Conall thinks it's love. And poor Conall is indeed head over heels with a woman who's not only a genius, but is also skilled in the use of weapons and doesn't have an issue with hacking into someone's bank account and giving them a few nightmares or taking him to an all-night RPG (role playing game) session. Meanwhile, a pack of vicious hyena-shifters are out in force to decimate the members of the Magnus Pack and their mates, and Miki's stressing over her graduate thesis.One of the many things I've enjoyed about Laurenston's heroines is they aren't all aflutter as soon as the hero walks into the scene. They don't stop being real and having an edge. Laurenston's heroines tend to be brash, foul-mouthed, just a few cards short of crazy and pricklier than a seguero cactus and that's why they make the perfect mates for the otherworldly shapeshifters. (I often wonder if authors realize that a wimpy heroine is just not going to make it when their new realities are comprised of being surrounded by things with claws, fangs and/or wings that just might want to kill them in horrible ways). Miki knows that Conall's far more powerful than she is, but she's just not fazed by it, to the point where she's often telling Conall to "go fetch" and where she 'mistakes' a golden retriever for Conall (something that drives him crazy since he disdains dogs like any good wolf would do). She's the type to go down swinging anyway. Miki is her own woman and she's incredibly flawed and granted, there were times in the book where I told her (loudly and on public transportation), to stop being so mean and open up a little. However it's those very flaws that make her so very memorable. In fact, while I certainly wouldn't kick a nice piece of man-flesh like Conall out of my bed for eating crackers, it's Miki who feels like reading about a best friend.Conall's no wimp--he's got the alpha thing in spades, but in order to win Miki he's willing to soften up a bit and his struggles with being "a teddy bear" rather than the "me Tarzan" are fun to read. He's out of his depth and he knows it and yet he loves and is willing to protect Miki, even from herself.The big clencher for me is that it's an interracial romance, and the paranormal genre has few of those, so when they do come along I snatch them up. What makes this aspect great is that Laurenston is one of the few authors in contemporary romance who populates her universe with people from different ethnicities. She seems to understand that when setting a novel in cities with diverse populations, it only makes sense for the characters (both primary and secondary) to reflect that diversity. The heroine and hero are trying not to get killed or kill each other. They're just two stubborn people in love.I'm sure that even after Magnus Pack, I'll be seeing more of Miki and Conall and I'm sure that married life for these two must be a total kick!

Please note this review may contain spoilers.Go Fetch! is book 2 of 3 in the Magnus Pack series and takes up from where Pack Challenge left off. We were introduced to Miki (Sara's brilliant but socially awkward and crazy best friend) and Conall (Zach's 2IC) in book 1 and it was love at first site. Well, for Conall it was. Miki required a little (ok, a lot more) finessing.While visiting Sara in California, Miki is injured in an attack by an unknown enemy. To ensure her safety, Conall insists on accompanying her to Seattle. Once in Seattle, the enemy shows it's ugly face again and there's a cool battle scene where Miki shows everyone exactly how crazy she can be. She earns the respect (and fear) of the Magnus and Van Holtz packs and solidifies her position in Conall's Pack, despite being human.I missed the quick one-liners that were present in book 1, but this book still had me chuckling in several places.I love how Shelly writes her characters. Their rude, crude and crazy, and they make no apologies about it. On to book 3.

I love, love, love the Beginner's Bible, but this coloring book is lacking! It could be fab with a few additions and slight changes. First the positive, BB itself contains all the most famous stories and does a great job of also including the lesser known stories and plenty of stories of the women who are heroes too. I also loved BB for the use of multicultural skin tones. Example Deborah (the hero, leader, and judge was depicted as a woman of color. Love it. But in contrast the Coloring Book does not include women (except Eve and Mary) and most of the characters look anglicized (if you're going with one race, at least they should all look middle eastern. The chances that Moses was blond is slim to none). I was a little girl once and I needed to see and hear the stories of Deborah and Esther, and I now have a daughter, and I am a teacher in a kids church class room where 50% of my students are girls--I don't want to hand them coloring page options week after week that are the male characters without being able to hand them the great women of the faith too. Where's Deborah, Ruth, Esther, Hannah and so on in the Coloring Book? They are in the Beginner's Bible itself--how hard would it have been to produce the corresponding coloring pages of the ladies? Girls need to be able see great women of faith as well as great men of faith. Well, and for that matter, boys need to see great women of faith too! That's not to put down the male characters in the Bible--we need them too, but I'd just like some heroes like Deborah in there for balance.

It is surprisingly hard to find quality Bible coloring books on Amazon! We bought this for children to work on before Bible study. This is a great book filled with fun imagery that teaches them while they're having fun!

A nice coloring book for kids. The images are simple and cute with the stories to go along with them simplified.

True evil personified.I like the reworking of the traditional names in Bram Stokers “Dracula” and given to these new and amazingly brave and fascinating characters. There is a couple of fun “easter eggs” sprinkled through out this book, celebrating other past vampire stories, ie: a small port town in Maine called Jerusalem.I am enjoying the true military history woven through out this book. 144 years of history, military battles, archeological finds, blood, death and life seen through the eyes of the main character Benjamin Harker is truly amazing and eye opening.So funny every time I read “corncob pipe” the song for Frosty The Snowman plays in my head. It’s somewhat distracting, but very funny, LOL.

FlowersTHE LAST HELLFIGHTER is an extraordinarily enthralling novel which weaves from contemporaneous society into the future and back to the early 20th century American culture and the Great War, and points in between. Commencing with a blow-me-out-of-the-water reader's hook, set in the Port of Jerusalem, Maine (a beginning that rendered me speechless), THE LAST HELLFIGHTER wings us forward to the ugly and dismaying political climate of 2044 in the United States. The central figure is Benjamin Harker, native of Harlem, black WWI soldier, later Oklahoma homesteader--and vampire-fighter. I love this character (and James Reese Europe, jazz musician and WWI Lieutenant). I love and admire them, for their character, integrity, and truth is what I've always aspired to.Author Flowers loves history as do I, and always brings it to us, alive and very present. I found a lot here astonishing (and terribly sad), but I've come away with improved understanding, knowledge, and empathy. I now have a new set of favorite fictional characters, and a new best-loved book.

This is quite a powerful story; the writing will move you, it’s so beautiful. It fits well into the Horror genre without being overtly gross most of the time. I am not into gross.I enjoyed the well developed tempo in the story. Ben’s need for music to trigger his memories was very realistic. The plot had moments of terror preceded by excellent scene-setting. A welcome opportunity to catch my breath.I relished the many complex characters. The dialogue was excellent. The book has received many 5-star reviews.I award “The Last Hellfighter” 3.4 stars. I was repeatedly stopped in my tracks by several dozens of spelling errors and spacing issues. Without these encumbrances to a smooth read, this would have been an easy five-star rating.

I'm not sure what I expected to find when I started reading The Last Hellfighter, but what I got was a vampire story unlike any other I'd read before. This book takes you on a trip through time along with the main character and ends with a satisfying conclusion that hints that the story continues beyond the end of the book.Something Flowers often does (and does well) in his books is mix in real historical plot points within his fictional story. This adds depth and realism to the entire experience. The combination of past and future in this novel makes for an especially fun contrast.It did take some time for this story to suck me in, but the wait is worth it. Check this book out. You'll be glad you did. Then read some of Flowers' other excellent stories, such as Reinheit, The Hobbsburg Horror, and the Subdue series.

Loved that an untold part of U.S. history that is the black soldiers of WW I was the protagonist of a vampire story. Didn't like that it took a while to get to the meat of the story.

I rarely give anything a five star rating. This book is one that earned every bit of this rating. Simply put it is excellent. You will not put it down. The writing and characters and scenes are just unbelievable. One of the best pieces of vampire fiction I ever read. I loved how this story was told as well. Just give it a chance. You won't regret it.

A wild historic ride filled with gore. Enjoy the characters especially the ones named in honor of the heros from the Buffy the Vampire slayer and the characters from Bram Stoker's Dracula. Got a history lesson too. A great read.

This is a very well done book. I loathe, loathe, loathe “self-help” books - as most are inane, inpractical, and poorly written - but the opposite of each was true with this book. It iz frounded, practical, and an enjoyableread. As someone who tried to get a law form off the ground, but couldnt - I reallllly wish I had had this book before I tried. As the authors readily admit, it is not a manual to opening a firm, but more a lesson plan. It wont tell you exactly what to do to open and create a successful law firm, but it will put your head in the right place to determine what to do and do it.It is also quite amazing how candid the authors are in both their successful strategies as well as there memorable mistakes. The only lawyer of the group I know personally is Bill Umansky - so I paid especially close attention to his parts and am glad I did. What his parts show is that like in most fields, there is no hidden secret to success or trait that makes you a person destined for success, just hard word and drive. This is quite satisfying, because it shows anyone can do it. His parts also highlight what is best about this book: that is goes over both the general concets,but also grounds them with relateableexamples of their application (too many books like this dont - and just stat vague).Definitely a worth-while read

"Tiger Tactics" is full of practical, real world advice from highly successful lawyers. There is no fluff or BS. The authors share what has worked well for them, and the lessons they've learned from their mistakes. I have not found a book like this in the marketplace and am certain this book will be a gift to lawyers, young and old.

I work with attorneys all the time with their digital marketing and IT. This book is loaded with great information for attorneys who run a practice and/or market a practice. Plenty if real world scenarios to go along with the information. I'd even go so far as to say other business owners can learn from this. Great job.

I just finished Tiger Tactics and its a book I wish I would have had 15 years ago when I was starting. It's a great kick in the seat for those of us who can be practicing better, and its without question a must read for anyone considering, starting, or operating a law firm of any size.

First of all, I am not an artist so I cannot offer any perspective on the value of this set in terms of artist quality. I bought it as an outlet for me and to help me relax and I must say it has done a great job. An ideal starter set for anyone who needs a creative outlet or just has some time to kill. I like this set because it gives you everything you need to get going: 48 pages (of varying quality) plus twelve two-sided pencils and a rudimentary sharpener. Nothing elaborate here but for the cost, its a great value. A few of the pages are printed in great detail and render very nicely if you take time and are patient. Other pages are of a simpler nature and are great if you just wants a quick scribble. I must say its gotten me hooked and I have already purchased more artist supplies.

This publisher has repeated delays (it was supposed to be released 11/1/2016, and finally was printed in January 2017), and the choice of pictures they are using lately in this and another of their new releases are sketchy and hard to color. I'm going to unsubscribe from their publications; their earlier releases were much better.

I would like to note the name is missleading color your way to calm this did not help my anxiety one bit i have a coloring book app that does wonders i wanted a real one and got two the other is very good but this one was almost irritating trying to decide what i can color how to etc etc i had to put so much extra thought into it it almost increased my anxiety attack with thatThe 12 two sided color pencils are what really makes this a deal for the price the booklet is cute not to small but should be bigger the hard flap for coloring makes it ideal for travel or my couch the paper quality is a bit thicker then printer paper the colors are nice you can press hard or do layers to build up the color only one option for skin tone though the main issue is that the images themselves are like a scratch drawing with a pen which makes it hard to color in my opinion however upon diving into one i like the way it looks as i go so if there was a stronger edit on the images choose with larger objects to fill in and less black it would be more enjoyable to color

These coloring book sets are awesome! Nice color selections, quality paper. They're great for traveling, you have everything you need all in a convenient compact case. A great gift for someone in the hospital.

I like these books they are cute however, I ordered the beautiful places one and ended up getting island breeze. I specifically wanted the places one as a gift for someone that was special. This one has no relative connection with the person it is for

It’s a great book! However it came slightly damaged. All four corners bent and twisted up, a few pages were actually torn at the ends, and some weird scratch marks on the back. I spoke with an amazon rep about getting a refund but still haven’t received it. All In all the book itself is very nice, wonderful pictures in it!
